Residents and colleagues at HC-One’s Park House Care Home in Guisborough were delighted to welcome Luke Myer, Member of Parliament for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland, on Friday 19th December 2025. The visit highlighted the home’s strong community spirit, commitment to person-centred care, and the positive difference it makes to local families.
During his visit, Mr Myer enjoyed a guided tour of the home’s modern and welcoming environment, which includes en-suite bedrooms, bright communal lounges, a cinema, on-site shop, hair salon, dining areas, and beautifully maintained gardens. He spent time speaking with residents and team members, learning how their dedicated approach helps residents lead happy, fulfilling lives at the 57-bed residential and residential dementia care home. The visit also coincided with a festive moment, as Mr Myer took part in Christmas carol singing alongside residents, colleagues and the Stokesley Acoustic Wind Band, bringing seasonal cheer to the home.
The visit was an opportunity to celebrate the dedication of Park House’s care team and the meaningful relationships they build with residents and the wider Guisborough community.
