Residents at Maryhill care home enjoy visit from MP

HC-One Scotland’s Wyndford Locks Care Home in Maryhill, Glasgow, was visited on Tuesday, July 29, by MP for Glasgow North, Martin Rhodes. 

Residents and colleagues at the HC-One Scotland owned care home enjoyed meeting their MP, Martin Rhodes and chatting to him about what life is like at Wyndford Locks Care Home – which is an integral part of the local Maryhill community. 

MP Martin Rhodes enjoyed a tour round the 90 bedded nursing and nursing dementia care home, including the dementia café, hobby room, hair salon, kitchenette, lounge, quiet room, ensuite bedrooms and garden.  

Danielle Cunningham, Home Manager at HC-One Scotland’s Wyndford Locks Care Home, said: 

“It was a privilege to welcome MP Martin Rhodes to Wyndford Locks. His visit was both enjoyable and insightful, providing an opportunity for meaningful conversations around the key issues that matter most to our residents, colleagues, and wider community.
