Melbury Court Care Home Spreads Love with Valentine’s Day CelebrationResidents at Melbury Court Care Home in County Durham enjoyed a heartwarming Valentine’s Day celebration on 14 February 2026, complete with a delightful afternoon tea and lively entertainment.
 
The lounge was transformed with charming heart-themed decorations, creating a cheerful and inviting atmosphere. Residents and team members came together to enjoy delicious homemade treats, as well as warm and cold refreshments, making the afternoon both relaxing and sociable.
 
Adding to the festivities, residents were treated to a lively performance by Strictly Entertainment, whose music and energy filled the room. Many residents joined in the fun, clapping, singing along to familiar favourites, and even dancing, making it a memorable highlight of the day.
 
The event offered a wonderful opportunity for everyone at Melbury Court to connect, share laughter, and enjoy the joy of Valentine’s Day together.
