Residents at Mossdale Residence in Burnholme, York, part of HC-One, had a delightful morning when they welcomed the little ones from Stockton Lane Playgroup for a special visit filled with creativity, laughter, and festive cheer.
The group of 2-3-year-old children arrived in the morning and immediately got stuck into some Autumn-themed arts and crafts, creating felt trees and pictures alongside Mossdale residents. The creativity and energy were infectious, and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to share stories and ideas while crafting together.
Afterwards, Mossdale Residence provided refreshments and snacks, giving children and residents a chance to sit and chat over a light bite. The fun continued outside in the home’s courtyard, where everyone enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful garden spaces.
Adding an extra element of celebration, the visit coincided with National Nursery Rhyme Day. Children and residents came together for some nursery rhyme singing, making the morning even more memorable.
