Residents and colleagues at HC-One’s Woodland View Care Home in Droitwich were delighted to welcome Droitwich and Evesham MP, Nigel Huddleston, for a festive visit on Friday 5 December, which included a Christmas wreath-making session with residents.
During his tour, Mr Huddleston explored a variety of the home’s specialist spaces, including its Ambient dining areas, welcoming social lounges, cosy cinema room, charming vintage tearoom, light-filled garden room and panoramic sky bar. He spent time speaking with residents and team members, gaining insight into day-to-day life at Woodland View and the positive impact of personalised care, meaningful activities, and strong, supportive relationships.
While visiting, Mr Huddleston joined residents for a Christmas wreath crafting activity, enjoying the chance to get into the festive spirit while learning more about the home’s approach to wellbeing and engagement.
The visit underscored Woodland View’s ongoing commitment to remaining at the heart of its local community and providing a warm, enriching environment where residents can thrive.
