Residents and colleagues at HC-One’s Pendleton Court Care Home in Salford, Manchester, were delighted to welcome the MP for Salford, Rebecca Long-Bailey, on Friday 16 January for a heart-warming and insightful visit.
During her time at the home, Ms Long-Bailey spent time speaking with residents, their families and colleagues, gaining an insight into daily life at Pendleton Court and learning more about the personalised support, meaningful relationships and engaging activities that help residents thrive.
The visit included musical entertainment in the lounge, enjoyed by residents and family members, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Ms Long-Bailey also took time to speak with residents and their loved ones individually, hearing first-hand about their experiences at the home.
In addition, Ms Long-Bailey met with the Home Manager to discuss recent home refurbishment improvements at Pendleton Court, future plans for the home and wider issues affecting the social care sector.
The visit highlighted Pendleton Court’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care and to playing an active role within the local community, creating a warm and vibrant environment where residents feel supported and valued.
