
Residents at HC-One’s Stoneleigh Care Home in Annfield Plain, Stanley, County Durham enjoyed a heart-warming and unforgettable experience last week when they were visited by a group of magnificent owls.
The special visit featured a variety of birds, from gentle barn owls to impressive larger species boasting wingspans of up to six feet. Each owl brought its own charm, offering residents moments of joy, calm, and lively conversation.
Residents were delighted to stroke the birds’ soft feathers, discover fascinating facts about each species, and soak in the peaceful presence of these extraordinary creatures. The visit created an atmosphere of connection and curiosity, leaving residents with memories they will treasure for years to come.
