Residents at HC-One’s Priorslee House Care Home in Telford Enjoy a Creative Afternoon of Autumn FlowResidents at HC-One’s Priorslee House Care Home in Telford, Shropshire, have been embracing the beauty of the autumn season with a relaxing and creative flower arranging activity, filling the home with the uplifting scent of fresh blooms and vibrant seasonal colours.

The lounge was filled with laughter, conversation, and the gentle rustle of petals as residents selected from an array of colourful flowers to create their own stunning arrangements. The completed displays now brighten the home’s communal spaces, adding a cheerful burst of autumn colour and a sense of accomplishment for everyone involved.

There’s something deeply calming about working with nature, and this activity offered residents the opportunity to express creativity, practice fine motor skills, and enjoy sensory stimulation through the fragrance, textures, and colours of the flowers. The gentle, hands-on activity also encouraged social interaction, helping residents connect with one another and share memories of gardens and favourite flowers from years gone by.

At Priorslee House, the wellbeing of residents is at the heart of everything the team does.
