HC-One’s Greenacres Care Home in Meltham, Holmfirth, brought Hollywood glamour to West Yorkshire recently as residents and colleagues enjoyed a dazzling afternoon at the home’s very own Oscars celebration.
Residents and colleagues alike stepped into the spotlight as the home rolled out the red carpet for a joyful awards ceremony featuring categories such as Best Dancer, Best Storyteller and Best Smile. The event recognised the unique talents, personalities and contributions of everyone living and working at Greenacres.
Over the past two weeks, residents and team members were invited to nominate one another for more than 40 fun and heartfelt awards. The atmosphere on the day was full of excitement, pride and plenty of laughter as each winner was announced.
Adding to the Hollywood feel, the kitchen team prepared a selection of Oscar-worthy treats for everyone to enjoy, helping to make the celebration even more special.
