Residents at Admirals Reach Care Home Enjoy a Wild Afternoon with ZooLab’s Animal Visitors

Residents at HC-One’s Admirals Reach Care Home in Chelmsford, Essex, were treated to a truly unique afternoon when ZooLab brought along a fascinating range of animals for everyone to meet up close.

 

The special guests included Sandy the Gecko, Frank and Frances the Cockroaches, Sheldon the Snail, Mary the Tarantula, Boots the Millipede with all of its 400 legs, and Vision the Snake. The visit gave residents the chance to learn more about these remarkable creatures and even hold or gently stroke some of them.

 

There were smiles all around as residents shared stories about animals they’d encountered in the past and embraced the opportunity to interact with such unusual visitors. The session sparked curiosity and conversation, with many residents commenting on how calming and enjoyable the experience was.
