Residents at Daneside Court Care Home Kick-Start the Week with Fun-Filled Exercise SessionResidents at Daneside Court Care Home in Northwich enjoyed a lively and uplifting start to the week with a morning exercise session designed to get everyone moving, laughing and energised for the day ahead.

The morning began bright and early as residents gathered for the fun-filled activity, which combined gentle exercise with music, rhythm and plenty of smiles. The session included warm-up movements, singing and interactive activities to encourage mobility and engagement.

A highlight of the morning was the appearance of the much-loved “Mr Octopus”, who proved to be a great companion for stretching exercises and a little friendly competition among residents. Soft batons were used to create playful rhythms down the corridor, while colourful pom-poms added a sensory element to the session, encouraging residents to take part in different poses and movements.

The room was filled with laughter as residents embraced the playful spirit of the session, showing that staying active can be both enjoyable and beneficial.

Samantha Farahat, Home Manager at Daneside Court, said:
