Residents at HC-One’s Larkhill Hall Care Home in Liverpool have been making the most of the autumn season by enjoying relaxing days in the home’s dedicated cinema room.
When the weather outside has been less than kind, the cinema room has provided the perfect cosy retreat for residents to watch films of their choice together. Recently, residents enjoyed a screening of Patch Adams, which made for a wonderful morning full of laughter, smiles, and companionship. Following requests from residents, the group also enjoyed a classic Western film, which sparked plenty of conversations and happy memories.
To complete the authentic cinema experience, residents were treated to popcorn, snacks, and plenty of drinks – all of which added to the enjoyment of the day.
Larkhill Hall’s wellbeing team regularly plans a wide range of engaging activities, and the cinema days have been a particular highlight this autumn. These special moments help create a homely atmosphere and contribute to the wellbeing of all who live at the care home.
Larkhill Hall is currently offering prospective residents the chance to experience life at the home with an exclusive offer: enjoy 4 weeks for the price of 3 when joining before 30th November 2025. Residents can look forward to a warm, kind, and engaging community where seasonal activities and celebrations are at the heart of daily life.
Lisa Casey, Home Manager at HC-One’s Larkhill Hall Care Home, said:
