Residents enjoy pop-up clothing sale at Stoneleigh Care HomeResidents at HC-One’s Stoneleigh Care Home in Annfield Plain, Stanley, enjoyed a special New Year treat as the home hosted a pop-up clothing sale, bringing the shopping experience directly to residents.

The temporary clothes shop gave residents the chance to browse and buy a wide selection of clothing, with a variety of styles, colours and sizes available. Residents were able to take their time looking through the items, supporting personal choice and independence in a relaxed and friendly setting.

The event sparked plenty of smiles and conversation, with residents helping one another choose outfits, sharing opinions and chatting about their favourite pieces. The social atmosphere made the morning especially enjoyable, turning shopping into a shared experience.

By bringing the shop into the home, the activity was made more accessible for residents while also recreating a familiar pastime many fondly remembered. The pop-up shop proved to be a lovely social occasion and was a great success for everyone involved.

Susan Dodds, Home Manager at Stoneleigh Care Home said:
