Residents at HC-One’s Daneside Court Care Home in Northwich, Cheshire, enjoyed a delightful afternoon this month as they welcomed pupils from Church Walk Primary School for a special intergenerational visit.
As part of a monthly programme designed to bring young and older generations together, the children and residents took part in a variety of fun, educational activities. From matching numbers on paper with the dots on dominoes to racing each other and timing challenges with stopwatches, the afternoon was filled with laughter, learning, and friendly competition.
Staff and residents were thrilled to see how naturally the children and residents interacted.
