A stylish sky bar at HC-One’s Millcroft Care Home in Redditch, Worcestershire, was abuzz with laughter and delicious aromas as residents came together for a vibrant Mocktail Making Afternoon earlier this month.
This lively event offered residents the chance to shake, stir, and sip a variety of delightful mocktails, including favourites like the tropical Fun in the Sun and the sparkling Gin Fizz. The hands-on experience encouraged residents to explore exciting flavour combinations and garnishes in a relaxed setting.
The afternoon held special significance as residents celebrated the 99th birthday of Phyl Woodhouse, one of Millcroft’s cherished members. A personalised birthday mocktail was crafted just for her, making the celebration even more memorable.
