
Residents and colleagues at HC-One’s River Court Care Home in Watford, Hertfordshire, were thrilled to welcome Matt Turmaine, Member of Parliament (MP) for Watford, as a special guest at the home’s annual Summer Fete on Saturday, July 26.
The festive event brought together residents, families, and staff for a day of celebration, with MP Matt Turmaine joining in to connect with the local community and learn more about the compassionate care provided at River Court. The 120-bed care home offers residential, nursing, residential dementia, and nursing dementia care, serving as a vital part of the Watford community.
During his visit, MP Matt Turmaine took a guided tour of River Court’s extensive facilities, which include a hair salon, quiet room, memory room, sensory garden, kitchenette, lounge, bedrooms, and landscaped garden. He spent quality time with residents, chatting and sharing stories, and learning more about daily life at the home.
