HC-One’s Woodland View Care Home in Droitwich, Worcestershire, is inviting members of the local community to come together for a heart-warming Brew Monday event, celebrating connection, conversation and companionship during the winter months.
Sometimes known as Blue Monday, the third Monday of January can be a challenging time of year for many. At Woodland View, however, the day is being rebranded as Brew Monday – an opportunity to slow down, put the kettle on and enjoy a friendly chat over a comforting cup of tea or coffee.
On Monday 19th January at 11:00am, Woodland View will be hosting its very own Chatty Café and board game morning, bringing residents and visitors together for a relaxed and sociable event. Guests can look forward to warm drinks, light refreshments, classic board games and plenty of laughter, all in a welcoming and cosy environment.
The care home is extending a warm invitation to the local community to pop in and spend Brew Monday with residents, encouraging people of all ages to join in. Whether it’s sharing stories over a cuppa, enjoying a bit of friendly competition or simply spending time together, everyone is welcome.
Sarah Whittington, Home Manager at Woodland View Care Home said:
“Brew Monday is all about reminding people that no one has to feel alone, especially during the winter months. At Woodland View, it’s the little moments that matter most – a shared drink, a kind word and time spent together. We’d love to welcome our local community to join us and make the day extra special for our residents.”
Woodland View Care Home prides itself on being an active part of the Droitwich community, regularly hosting events that bring people together and promote wellbeing, friendship and inclusion.
