Residents from HC-One’s Woodthorpe Lodge Care Home in Woodthorpe, Loughborough, Leicestershire, enjoyed a wonderful day out as they boarded the bus for a trip to the Six Acres Garden Centre in Costock, and it proved to be a real winner!
The group spent a relaxing and cheerful afternoon exploring the beautiful seasonal plant and flower displays before settling down for some delicious coffee and cakes in the garden centre café. However, the real highlight of the visit was meeting the friendly donkeys and llamas, which brought smiles and laughter all around.
“It was such a lovely trip,” said one resident. “The animals were adorable, and the cakes were delicious too. We can’t wait to go back again soon!”
