
Residents at HC-One’s Woodthorpe Lodge Care Home in Loughborough, Leicestershire, enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and creative afternoon recently, taking part in a cheerful flower arranging session.
The activity brought together residents to design and arrange beautiful floral displays, filling the home with vibrant colours, delightful scents and plenty of smiles. Using a variety of fresh flowers, residents carefully crafted arrangements that will now be displayed throughout the care home for everyone to admire.
The session provided a lovely opportunity for residents to spend time together, express their creativity and enjoy a calm, social activity in a warm and welcoming environment. Flower arranging is known to promote wellbeing, encourage conversation and stimulate the senses, making it a popular and meaningful activity for residents.
