Residents at HC-One's
Summerville Care Home in Stockton Heath, Warrington, Cheshire, were recently treated to a vibrant and energetic performance by a local youth Morris dancing troupe. The visit, which filled the care home with the cheerful sounds of bells and lively music, was a huge success, creating a memorable day for both residents and colleagues.
The young dancers arrived in their traditional costumes and performed a series of intricate and lively dances on the lawn. Residents watched from the comfort of the lounge and garden area, clapping along to the rhythm and sharing stories of their own experiences with folk traditions. The performance not only showcased the talent of the local youth but also provided a wonderful opportunity for intergenerational connection, bridging the gap between past and present.
