She has gone above and beyond the requirements of her role to provide support to Residents, under the most challenging of circumstances. Katie’s role as Resident Liaison is a combination of lots of different roles within the home. Most importantly, she acts as a key contact between Residents and families.
A key aspect of Katie’s role is to ensure the Residents’ experience at the home is the best it can possibly be. Katie goes around Residents rooms each day and ensures they have everything they need. If Residents want anything from the shops, she will happily go out and get it. Katie also communicates with families on a daily basis giving them updates on their loved one’s day and asking if she can support in any way.
