Introducing One Community - supporting colleagues making a difference in our communities

We are delighted to announce the launch of One Community – a new HC-One initiative that brings together our shared commitment to supporting great causes, championing community spirit, and caring with kindness beyond our care homes.

As part of this launch, we’re pleased  to introduce our new Matched Funding scheme, designed to celebrate and support the incredible fundraising efforts of our colleagues.

From bake sales and fun runs to sponsored challenges, we know our teams regularly go the extra mile to raise money for charities close to their hearts. One Community’s Matched Funding scheme will help boost those efforts by matching successful fundraising applications with a donation from HC-One – helping even more good causes benefit from our colleagues’ kindness.

Matched Funding is now open to all HC-One homes and Support Office teams. Applications can be made once fundraising is complete, to request a matched donation of up to £250.

This is just the start for One Community, and we’re excited to build on this foundation with more initiatives that bring our colleagues, residents, families and neighbours together in meaningful ways.

We can’t wait to see all the brilliant fundraising stories and events shared in the months ahead – and to celebrate the impact our teams continue to have in their communities!
