Celebrating care excellence across HC-One homes

HC-One is delighted to celebrate a series of recent inspection successes across our homes in England and Scotland — with four services receiving glowing feedback from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Care Inspectorate.

These ratings are a testament to the compassion, professionalism and dedication of our colleagues, who go above and beyond every day to provide kind, high-quality care.

In Edinburgh, the team at Victoria Manor care home achieved an impressive set of grades from the Care Inspectorate: 4, 5, 5, 4, 4, 4. Home Manager Julie and her team marked the moment with a joyful garden party alongside residents, families and friends. One touching moment came as a long-standing relative, Linda, shared heartfelt words about the difference the team has made to her family over the years.

Across England, three HC-One homes are celebrating ‘Good’ ratings across all five key areas from the CQC.

At Millcroft care home in Redditch, inspectors praised the strong culture of kindness and teamwork. Home Manager Lyndsay Sard said:

“The team have worked so hard, and I’m so proud of every single one of them. This rating is a true reflection of their dedication.”

Haywood Lodge care home, in Mappleborough Green, received similarly positive feedback, with Home Manager Georgia Cooney sharing:

“This report is a testament to the hard work and kind care that each and every member of the team puts in, day in, day out.”

Meanwhile, Summerville care home in Warrington was also rated ‘Good’ in all areas. Home Manager, Katie Bond, added:

“We are delighted with this CQC report which is confirmation of the hard work and kind care that each and every member of the team at Summerville puts in, day in day out."
