Twenty HC-One Colleagues and teams shortlisted for awards at the NE Great British Care Awards 2022Twenty HC-One Colleagues and teams from care homes across the North East of England have been shortlisted as finalists by the judging panel at the Great British Care Awards 2022, Regional Awards for the North East region. 

The awards recognise individuals’ achievements from frontline staff including care workers and care managers to those who have made an impact in other ways such as in the areas of innovation and training.

The pandemic has presented many challenges for our Colleagues and care homes but it has also highlighted the amazing work our Colleagues do in our homes, especially during the challenges of the pandemic.”

The Great British Care Awards consist of 23 awards, which cover a wide range of areas of the social care sector. The awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of distinction across the care sector. The awards pay tribute to those who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their area of work. The award ceremony of the Great British Care Awards 2022, Regional Awards for the North East region takes place at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park in Newcastle on Thursday 10th November 2022 when the winners will be announced. Successful winners of the North East regional awards will progress to the national finals of the Great British Care Awards 2023 taking place on Friday 17th March 2023 at the ICC in Birmingham.
