16 Year celebration for Care Home Resident

One Resident of HC-One’s Beeches Care home in Tameside is celebrating a 16-year long stay at the home. Resident Margaret initially came to the care home in 2002 and has made it her home ever since!

The home celebrated this occasion with a special party for Margaret and her family. They booked some local entertainers to sing some of her favourite Elvis songs, the care team made speeches and Margaret was presented with a bunch of flowers and her favourite chocolates. There was also cake and drinks to mark the occasion.

Margarets Husband Barry remarked:

“Thank you all for organising such a wonderful afternoon for my Margaret, it’s been wonderful. Everything you have done has been so special; the singers were excellent thank you again for all you do for us.”

Louise Clifford, Home Manager at HC-One’s Beeches care home commented:

“I’ve looked after Margaret for these 16years from a carer to the manager; we have some stories to tell. She is a lovely lady always happy and has a laugh with the Team, it’s a pleasure to look after her.”

Beeches is located in Yew Tree Lane and offers short and long term care to elderly members of the community needing Residential Care.
