The Westbury residential and nursing care home, in Wiltshire, got together to celebrate Resident Priscilla’s 90th Birthday as well as welcoming back a dancer to entertain everyone.
Priscilla, was born in 1932 and is an artist with such talent that everyone admires. She recently painted a picture of The Westbury care home (see pictured bottom left).
Being a big fan of Greek dancing entertainer, Yannis, Priscilla was so pleased and excited that he was performing for her birthday.
Priscilla’s daughters also came to join in with the celebrations, one of which had travelled all the way from Norway to celebrate with her mother. They were very pleased about everything and the effort that had gone into the day to make their mother’s birthday so lovely and full or memories. They joined in with the dancing too!
For the special day, Priscilla, was treated to a wonderful buffet, catered for by the home’s Chef, as well as a lovely birthday cake and a lovely party with her fellow Residents.
Speaking about her birthday, Priscilla commented, “Thank you for a lovely afternoon. I loved the Greek dancer.”
Theresa Chacko, Care Home Manager, remarked, “This was a wonderful day celebrating the return of our entertainers after so long, and especially for Priscilla’s birthday. A great day had by all.”
