90th birthday celebrations at Poulton-le-Fylde care home

Brian celebrated his birthday at HC-One’s Bankhouse care home, in Poulton-le-Fylde with a special visit from his daughter, Norma, followed by a video call with his family.

The team at Bankhouse wanted to make Brian’s 90th birthday special, so they arranged a visit from his daughter Norma and organised a Zoom call with the rest of his family so he could celebrate with them.

For the video call, Brian sat in the home’s conservatory which the team had decorated with balloons and banners, Brian enjoyed a glass of red wine and a slice of delicious birthday cake which the kitchen team prepared in honour of Brian’s favourite football team, Blackpool FC.

Brian’s daughter also surprised him with a beautiful photo album filled with family pictures, looking through the album brought back lots of happy memories for him. After all of the celebrations, Brian commented that it was the best birthday he has ever had and thanked the team for their efforts.

Bankhouse Home Manager, Janet Barnes said: “I am so pleased that Brian enjoyed his special day, it was heart-warming to see the smile on his face.”
