Broadoak Manor Resident, Joan Ashurst, celebrated her 94th birthday with fellow Residents and Colleagues at the Merseyside care home today.
Joan residents on the Stapley unit at the home and had to celebrate her birthday a little differently this year as opposed to normal. She did however receive an abundance of flowers which arrived from family and friends.
Joan commented, “I cannot believe how many flowers I have received, I have been spoilt. My room smells like a perfumed garden.”
Home Manager, Siobhan Dean, remarked, “It was a lovely birthday, given the current climate, and it showed just how much Joan is loved by all her family and friends. She had a wonderful day.”
