99th birthday celebrations at Ilkeston care home

Resident Nora Stevenson celebrates her 99th birthday today at HC One’s Ladywood care home.

Nora received a lovely birthday surprise of a card and a beautiful bunch of flowers, sent to her by her family to celebrate such a special occasion.

With the difficult situation at the present time meaning that Nora’s family were unable to visit in person, receiving these gorgeous gifts was a lovely way for her family to send their wishes. Nora was also able to video chat with her family and thank them herself for the gifts sent.

Nora said ‘Thank-you Gail and Daniel, they are beautiful.’

Nora really enjoyed getting to speak with her family, and is looking forward to next year to celebrate her big 100th birthday!
