A Christmas Fayre, at
Sandon care home in Tameside, was held on the 2nd of December and it was a huge success!
Both families and members of the community were welcomed back to the 42-bed residential and residential dementia care home to mark the special event.
There was a prize tombola, chocolate tombola where Resident, Madge took charge, a raffle, bottle tombola, and various stalls which the community set up.
Everyone who attended enjoyed either a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, tea, coffee, mince pies and lots of sweet treats.
It was a great day, and the Residents really enjoyed spending time with one another and their Relatives.
An amazing £310 was raised by everyone who attended the fayre. The money will be going towards the buffet for the Christmas party.
Lynne Campbell, Care Home Manager, commented, “It was a really great day, and the Residents had a great time too. It really is the most wonderful time of the year!”
