A delicious pub lunch for Dukinfield ResidentsOn 4th May ladies from the Beeches residential care home, on Tameside, enjoyed a pub lunch at their local Ash Tree Farm.

The group started the trip with a short drive to the pub, and happened to pass by Resident Gladys’ old house, as well as many other familiar places to all the ladies.

Mavis, Gladys, Doreen and Mary (all pictured) enjoyed being out and choosing some delicious meals which included fish and chips, and cheese and onion pie.

After the lovely meal the ladies enjoyed a drink and chat together, before taking a drive a different way home and seeing more familiar places that had changed a lot over time.

It was a lovely day out, with lots of chatting and reminiscing.

Sade Smith, Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “It’s good to get out and we are lucky to have such lovely places so close by that we can still visit and keep our Residents safe and at the same time enjoy ourselves!”
