A fond farewell as Sandon Colleague retires21st March marked the final day for one Colleague at HC-One’s Sandon care home, in Mossley, Tameside, and there was a fond farewell from all.

Colleague Kelly worked her last shift at the 42-beds residential and residential dementia care home, before she said a fond farewell to everyone, as she leaves for retirement.

Kelly has worked at Sandon House for many years, working both day and night shifts and has been a huge asset for the home, she will be missed by all Residents, Colleagues, Relatives and friends.

Before the farewells, Residents made Kelly cards and the team showered her with gifts, cards and flowers.

Kelly also wanted to give something back to the home, so she decided to do the Manchester Glow Walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society and raised an amazing £200!

Lynne Campbell, Care Home Manager, commented, “We hope you enjoy your retirement Kelly, and thank you so much for your contributions to Sandon over the years.”
