Everyone at
Pendleton Court residential, nursing and residential memory care home, in Manchester, would like to express their thanks after a very generous donation from the local community, which made Christmas that little bit extra special.
Tesco supermarket, Mason Advisory and Dancing for Dementia gave huge donations of gifts for each Resident and the local school and nursey children sent Christmas cards to every Resident.
In response, Residents made and decorated snowflakes and attached thank you cards to give back to all the companies who donated. See pictured Residents Christine, Elsie, Elizabeth and Winnie, who all helped make the cards.
Everyone was so happy and grateful to receive the donations, especially when Santa came round to deliver the gifts!
Residents commented on how beautiful the cards were and how thoughtful the children were for the little messages and jokes inside them.
