Residents at
Avon Court nursing and residential care home, in Chippenham, were asked if there was anything they wanted to do now restrictions are lifted, so that was exactly where the idea of a pub lunch came from!
Daphne Leonard, Vera Benney and David Philips all wanted to journey out for lunch, so Colleagues took them to a local Brewers Fayre where they all had a lovely lunch and nice glass of wine.
Everyone enjoyed being able to choose from a huge menu!
Vera said, “The food was lovely.”
Daphne added, “It was lovely to go out.”
Irene Kirui, Care Home Manager, remarked, “I am so pleased we are starting to get normality back for our Residents and all had a wonderful afternoon.”
