A trip to the theatre for Consett care home ResidentsA group of ladies and gentlemen from Greenways Court care home in Consett were thrilled to go on a trip to the local theatre to see the new Elvis movie.

Josie Graham, Rena Adamson, Noreen Knifton, Nora Leadham, Catherine Kirkley, Margaret Graham, Vince Sullivan and Ted Baldwin, hopped on the minibus and took a trip to the Empire Theatre in Consett.

Everyone involved was very excited to go and see the movie. The Residents enjoyed a lovely, clotted cream ice-cream whilst watching the film.

The movie was fantastic, and all the Residents were enthralled for the full two hours and forty minutes the film was on for. Rena, commented, “It was so good, can we go and see it again tomorrow?”

It was such a lovely day, and both the Residents and staff had a great time.
 
Josie, also said, “That was brilliant, I have always loved Elvis!”

Kinga Kowaliczek, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The whole day was special from start to finish, and the staff made it special for everyone.”
