At Denton residential care and residential memory care home, Greatwood House, the Residents hairdresser, Lisa, has returned ready to cut and restyle.
The Residents are feeling better sporting their new dos. They were so excited to have a visit to the hairdresser which was the highlight of the week. A gossip with the hairdresser is a special time for Residents who have been used to visiting there every week to have a wash and set, pre-covid.
Lisa Taylor, who is the hairdresser, has been working at Greatwood House now for over 10 years as their hairdresser and bounced in today with a big smile on her face.
One Resident said, “I feel like a new woman!”
Another remarked, “She's done an amazing job on my hair it was so unruly.”

Odette Wilson, Care Home Manager, commented, “What a difference it makes to Residents having their hair done, it makes them feel human again.”
