Acacia Court care home, in Pudsey, celebrates Success in latest Care Quality Commission ReportHC-One’s Acacia Court in Pudsey, Leeds, a 41-bed residential care home, is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

The team at Acacia Court were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents, demonstrating that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible, and Well-Led.

The inspectors were full of praise for Colleagues at Acacia Court, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. The inspectors report, stated, “Throughout the inspection we saw many examples of staff approaching and responding to people in a kind and caring way.” This sentiment was echoed by Residents, who made remarks such as “Staff are nice.” One Relative remarked, “We now think that [relative] condition was anxiety related, this is almost non-existent now thanks to the care of the staff there”

Inspectors also commented on how well the Colleagues knew the needs of the Residents and were able to give examples of their specific needs. The inspectors observed how important the Colleagues were to the Residents and how well they communicated effectively and patiently.
