On 14th November, in the town of Ashton-in-Makerfield, there was a Remembrance town walk through annual parade near the Garswood Hall War Memorial which passes by the home.
Some Residents assembled outside to wave those participating in the parade. Kathleen, Veronica and Mathew all enjoyed sitting outside and watching the parade. Other Residents including Joyce, Jimmy and Grace all watched from the window.

Stacey added, “People who were in the parade waved as they passed by and Mathew enjoyed waving at all the children involved in carrying the flag.”
