Family members were welcomed to join Residents of Hyde nursing home on 3rd May for a beautiful afternoon tea party.
The afternoon tea took place in the home’s pavilion area where fresh cream cakes and sandwiches were served, all baked and prepared by the home’s kitchen Colleagues.
There was also a plentiful selection of teas and coffees as everyone involved relaxed and listed to 1970s pop music and posed for photos together.
Residents and Relatives gave a special thanks to all staff for a wonderful event and everyone applauded after Bed Addy’s heartfelt speech.
Everyone particularly enjoyed spending time with their family members while enjoying some delicious food together; there were so many smiles and lots of laughter.
Dorothy, who lives at the home, commented, “It’s lovely here. I really, really like this.
Fellow Resident Billy commented, “I have no complaints at all to this home, everything is just perfect!”
Irina Babici, Care Home Manager, remarked, “We were joined by partners, children, grandchildren. It really was a truly wonderful afternoon!”
