April Park Residents enjoy fresh sea air with trip to Scarborough

Residents at April Park care home in Eckington enjoyed getting some fresh sea air with a visit to Scarborough.

Beryl, Jean and Margaret embarked on the seaside adventure, as they began the day by seeing the sights of the beautiful coastline.

After a walk around the sea front, Residents warmed up with a hearty portion of fish and chips and then had a great laugh in the arcades.

One Resident commented: “It was a lovely day out and I really hope we can visit the beach again soon in the sunshine.”

Gail Wardle, Home Manager at April Park, said: “The Residents really enjoyed their trip to Scarborough. The visit to the arcades went down a storm, with many Residents commenting on childhood memories at the beach.”
