Autumn activities at Penrith care homeResidents at HC-One’s Winters Park care home in Penrith have been taking part in some Autumn themed activities.

As part of the Autumn activities, Wellbeing Coordinator, Daisy has created, with the help of both the staff and Residents, a ‘tree of thanks’ display.

The Residents have written things they are thankful for on paper leaves. They were thankful for many things such as their friends and family.

Lots of the Residents were thankful for the company of the home’s cats Molly and Tommy.

One Resident, commented, “I’m thankful for all the staff who have created a beautiful display like this one.”

As well as the tree, some of the Residents have been decorating the home with lots of Autumn decorations and it looks lovely!

Kate Lewis, Care Home Manager, remarked, “Its so lovely to see the Residents enjoying and taking pride in making their homes display boards.”
