Avalon Park Residents enjoy reminiscent lunch together

Residents at Avalon Park care home in Oldham enjoyed a reminiscent lunch together as they visited Ashtree Farm.

As everyone checked out the menu, it was clear to see that fish and chips was a popular choice, with hearty portions being served shortly after.

The meal was full of laughter, with one Resident even shedding a few tears as she shared memories of how fish and chips were a special treat as she was growing up.

One Resident commented: “I have had such a lovely day, the food was amazing and the company was even better.”

Renu Kataria, Home Manager at Avalon Park, said: “Everyone really enjoyed the trip out for lunch and were really impressed by their food. We already can’t wait to visit again.”
