Avandale Lodge Resident wins gardening award

Avandale Lodge residential and residential memory care home, in Northwich, is pleased to announce that one of their Residents has received a HC-One gardening award. 

Hedley, who is a Resident at the home, had a lovely surprise in the post this morning, he had received the 'Green Fingers Award' from HC-One's gardening competition.

When speaking to Colleagues previously, Hedley told them that he enjoyed gardening as well as DIY, so they arranged for him to have a HC-One t-shirt and badge so he can assist the maintenance team. 

He loves to help around the home and garden and said, “What a nice surprise!” It is lovely to be appreciated.”

Steve, Home Manager, commented, “I'm made up for Hedley to win this award!”
