Residents spend the morning baking peppermint creams today at HC-One’s Avonpark care home in Limpley Stoke, Wiltshire.
A team of five Residents came together with Wellbeing Coordinator, Leanne, to make the tasty treats while they chatted and reminisced about growing up.
One Resident commented: “The smell of peppermint brought back memories from my childhood days.”
The team swapped stories of when they used to bake with their parents and reminisced about their favourite treats, all while carefully crafting the aromatic peppermint creams.
One Resident, who simply couldn’t wait to finish baking, said: “I think this is great but I am more looking forward to eating them at the end.”
Everyone agreed that they couldn’t wait to eat them and when the time finally arrived, they enjoyed the treats with an afternoon cup of tea or coffee.
Wellbeing Coordinator, Leanne, commented: “It’s lovely to see so many people and to have their great company.”
