Baking is a piece of cake for Acomb Court Residents

Residents at Acomb Court care home in Northumberland enjoyed a baking session together, where they made a delicious batch of coconut rocks.

Everyone enjoyed a chat together, while Residents helped to crack the eggs and mix the ingredients together.

The coconut rocks were later enjoyed with a cup of tea.

One Resident commented: “It was lovely for everyone to get together to bake to coconut rocks. I had a really good laugh and the cakes were delicious.”

Adam Kane, Home Manager at Acomb Court, said: “Everyone really enjoyed the baking session. Residents had a smile on their face as they waited for the cakes to cook, and the home smelt lovely.”
