BBC Orchestra group play for Rose Court Residents on Christmas EveRose Court care home, in Radcliffe, welcomed a brass ensemble on Christmas Eve to play for Residents and Colleagues, and what an enjoyable time had by all!

Stefanie Farr, the Assistant Manager at the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra organised for some of the BBC orchestra members to come and played carols for the Residents at the 87-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home. 

The Residents enjoyed the music and were singing along to the carols. One of the members of the orchestra brought his son who was 'conducting' the group, and the Residents really enjoyed that as he was very good!

One of the Residents commented, “What wonderful music and sets us off with Christmas mood.”

Another Resident added, “Lovely music and I enjoyed the boy conducting the band.”
