Residents at HC-One’s Ladywood care home have enjoyed a few days by the seaside recently as the home turned into a beach for a ‘staycation’.
The lounge was decorated to look like a beach as Residents played seaside games such as hook-a-duck and hoopla, and sounds of the seaside played on the home’s sound system.
Treats were served for all to enjoy, and the home’s chef made delicious cup cakes with a beach theme.
Residents remarked at how much they enjoyed themselves as they had missed going to the beach, with one commenting: “It’s been so long since I’ve been, but it really brings memories back of my childhood.”
