Beeches Care Home welcomes Zoolab

Residents and visitors at Beeches Care home in Dukinfield once again welcomed Zoo Lab to the home.

Zoo Lab brought in a variety of weird and wonderful creatures for the Residents to hold and engage with including Snakes, Bearded Dragons, Beetles and Millipedes. 

Whilst some were a little squeamish, many Residents embraced the opportunity to try holding and petting the creatures!

Providing animal therapy is another way for HC-One’s Beeches to provide the Kindest Possible Care and Residents have said how much they are looking forward to the next visit from Zoo Lab!

Home Manager, Louise Clifford, remarked: 

"It is wonderful to see our Residents engaging with lots of different activities and they always comment on how much they enjoy visits from various animals!"
