Beer day at Dove Court care home

Residents at Burnley residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care home, Dove Court, have had a lovely time celebrating World Beer Day. 

Tasting the different beers from different countries and enjoying a themed pub singalong was certainly a highlight of the day. There was also lots of nibbles to go with the beer and non-alcoholic options too.

Dove Court Residents Bert Barrit and Shirley Atlass, both pictured, thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon commenting, “Thank you for a lovely afternoon!”

Stephanie Tillotson, Activities Coordinator, who organised the day with fellow Colleague Janice Firminger, commented, “It’s so lovely to see the Residents enjoying themselves.”
