After not being able to visit the home since last year due to restrictions, HC-One’s Milliner House
care home finally welcomed back the homes much loved hairdresser, to the delight of Residents.
With a number of safety measures in place, Milliner House Colleagues were finally able to say 'welcome back' to the home’s hairdresser, Sue. Not only were Residents saying a hello to an old friend they were also able to feel beautiful again.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed being pampered and chatting to Sue, with one Resident joking, “what are you looking at someone as beautiful as me for?”
Milliner House Home Manager Kathryn Elizabeth Sygrove said: “It's fantastic that although we have procedure in place and it isn’t quite the same, seeing the Residents feel beautiful again is amazing.”
Part of an attractive residential area on the outskirts of Luton, Milliner House is a friendly, purpose-built care home with 40 beds, offering residential and residential dementia care.
